Manchester Airport has marked the opening of Terminal 2’s new security hall with a ribbon cutting.
The new hall, fitted with state-of-the-art scanners and significantly increasing the capacity of the terminal, opened on 22 May and is described by the airport as “a major milestone” as its 10-year £1.3bn transformation of the airport nears completion.
