In a bold move to boost local employment and skills development, London Luton Airport (LLA) has launched a revamped apprenticeship scheme aimed at creating new career pathways for residents in Luton, Bedford, and Hertfordshire. This programme comes as part of the airport’s commitment to fostering talent and enhancing economic growth in the region.
Working in partnership with leading educational institutions such as Bedford College, LDN Apprenticeships, and the West Hertfordshire College Group, LLA has welcomed its first cohort of apprentices to embark on 12 to 18-month apprenticeships across a variety of disciplines, including Sustainability, Health & Safety, Digital Marketing, Guest Experience, and Commercial roles. This new initiative is targeted at local individuals aged 18 and over residing within the LU1 to LU4 postcodes, opening up valuable opportunities for those in the surrounding communities...
