Luang Prabang International Airport (LPIA) set for expansion to enhance connectivity and tourism in Laos
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of the Lao PDR to modernize Luang Prabang International Airport (LPIA) through a public-private partnership (PPP). IFC will serve as the lead advisor for this project, aimed at upgrading the airport’s facilities and increasing passenger capacity.
