A $344m transformation of Terminal 8 at New York JFK Airport has begun with joint business partners American Airlines and British Airways celebrating the start of construction.
American Airlines President, Robert Isom - “We will be adding more than 70,000sq ft to customer and operational spaces to create a truly world-class experience at JFK,” Isom added, while staff would also benefit from more co-located long-haul aircraft gates and an enhanced baggage system."
