United Airlines is warning passengers on Thursday that they could still see the ripple effects of a ground stop that went into effect Wednesday evening.

A computer issue forced more than 1,000 flight delays across the country.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says the problem was specific to United's operations, and is unrelated to the broader Air Traffic Control system issue.

United representatives also say the technical glitch was not the result of a cyberattack.
