Glasgow Airport is investing £3.7 million to improve passenger experience with new dining options, refreshed retail units and lounge upgrades.
The funding, provided by various retailers, will see the arrival of two new restaurants, upgrades to existing outlets both airside and landside, and improvements to the main departure lounge. The developments will broaden the choice available to passengers and modernise facilities.
Work is already underway and will be completed over the coming months. Highlights include:
- Sanford’s American Diner, replacing Frankie & Benny’s, opening in August with a menu of milkshakes, pizza, burgers and more
- Primo Volo, an Italian café bar serving pasta, ciabatta sandwiches and spritz cocktails, due to open in July
- Enhancements to Bird & Signet bar and kitchen
- Relocation of the Stack & Still pancake unit
- New Accessorise and Travelex outlets
The project forms part of a wider terminal transformation plan, which also includes upgrades to airfield infrastructure and sustainability measures, ensuring the airport is prepared for future growth and demand.
