Four runways, a terminal and a place for several dozen planes at once. This is what the CPK should look like.
We are talking about initially two, and ultimately four runways, a total area of 3 thousand. hectares and initial capacity of 45 million passengers per year - said Mikołaj Wild, deputy minister of infrastructure and government representative for CPK, in an interview with Business Insider Polska in 2017 . Now this vision has gained the first draft , which was presented during the European Economic Congress in Katowice.
The scheme includes the proposed deployment of airport infrastructure - from the passenger terminal, cargo terminals, layout of two runways, aprons, parking lots, railway line, air traffic control tower, to fuel installations, military facilities and fire brigades.
