Farnborough Airport has submitted plans to increase the number of flights on weekends and public holidays.
Rushmoor Borough Council has confirmed the airport has submitted a new planning application to change the way they operate to meet their aim of increased growth.
The airport is proposing to increase the number of all aircraft movements on weekends and public holidays from 8,900 to 13,500 a year.
It also wants to amend the existing aircraft weight category to 55,000kg - 80,000 kg (up from 50,000kg to 80,000kg), also allowing for an increase of the number of permitted flights within the amended category on weekends and public holidays from 270 to 405 annually.
People are being invited to have their say on the plans and have until the end of the year...
