The FAA released a Program Guidance Letter (PGL) relating to Companion Grants, which involve two or more grants from various programs.
This includes the Airport Improvement Program (AIP), IIJA, Supplemental Discretionary, and others that finance a usable unit of work within a single fiscal year or across multiple fiscal years.
The PGL revision seeks to clarify terminology, simplify reimbursement request requirements, and introduce other flexibilities to make administration less burdensome.
