Mexican airport operator, Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA), has inaugurated the first phase of a €400 million investment programme at Monterrey International airport.

The delivery of the new East Concourse of Terminal A is a major milestone of a five-year expansion programme that will bring a significant step in the ongoing expansion of Mexico.

The overall objective is to increase the airport’s capacity by 50% to equip it handle up to 18 million passengers annually.

Global airport operator, VINCI Airports, is the main shareholder in OMA, which operates 13 airports in Mexico.
