EuroAirport is taking another important step toward modern and efficient passenger handling: starting this week, check-in for selected airlines will be handled via self-service devices (Self Bag Drop devices, SBD).

The relevant check-in area is temporarily located in Hall 2 and, as of May, will be operational in modernised Hall 3. Further airlines are expected to follow suit as soon as possible. The goal of this change is to make the check-in process more efficient and independent for passengers.

By introducing self-service technology, EuroAirport is making a targeted investment in improving Passenger Experience. In the future, travellers will be able to check in independently for the most part: they will go to a check-in kiosk, print out their boarding passes and baggage tags there if need be, and then drop off their luggage at a Self Bag Drop point...
