Doncaster Sheffield Airport has begun the process of appointing an on-site operational partner as preparations continue towards reopening.
The airport has issued a call for a Fixed Base Operator (FBO), inviting aviation-focused businesses to submit proposals for a permanent role supporting general aviation activity. This includes services for private jets, medical aircraft and private pilots.
The selected FBO will work alongside the airport operator, FlyDoncaster, to support the delivery of day-to-day operations across the airfield. The role will form part of a wider operating structure that brings together airfield management, terminal operations, security and ground services...
