Centralny Port Komunikacyjny, the company responsible for delivering the Port Polska investment programme, has signed a contract with Cundall Polska for the preparation of design documentation for part of the Cargo Zone. This is the first of three contracts to be awarded for the design of this area of the future airport.
The Cargo Zone will include cargo terminals, facilities for integrators providing comprehensive logistics services, a public services building, and a surface car park together with full development of the surrounding areas. The value of the signed contract amounts to PLN 15.4 million (gross).
Under the agreement, Cundall Polska will prepare complete design documentation, along with technical support, for two cargo terminals and a freight forwarding warehouse with a total area of 42,800 square metres.
