The initial phase of our redesign of Venice Marco Polo Airport’s wayfinding and media strategy is now complete, creating an intuitive and purposeful sense of place.
Our work spans across the existing terminal building and new ferry terminal, providing multi-lingual graphics to ensure clear navigation for both non-Italian and non-English speakers.
The project required an in-depth understanding of the visual environment and the application of journey mapping, user behaviour and engagement, design analysis, strategy, branding, product design and delivery.
The success of the scheme has led to the team’s appointment to redevelop a number of additional internal spaces, as part of the airport’s ongoing expansion.
The project adds to our Wayfinding Team’s growing portfolio, including work at Pulkovo Airport, Dublin Airport, Stansted Airport, Manchester Airport and Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 5 and Terminal 2A.
