The winning bidder will support the entire process of constructing the airport. Five consortia comprising Polish and international firms took part in the tender. The bid submitted by the consortium led by Hill International was recognised as the most advantageous in the procedure for the provision of General Contract Engineer services.
The consortium offered a price of PLN 1 585 136 163,58. (approx. € 374 mln). Bids were evaluated on the basis of price criteria (50% of possible points) and qualitative criteria, i.e. contractor staff experience (20%), methodology for service delivery (20%), and project organisation plan (10%). One of the requirements was that key management personnel must have knowledge of the Polish language and experience in supervising design works or construction works carried out within the territory of the Republic of Poland...
