Credit card giant Capital One is making plans to open a new lounge for passengers at Charlotte’s airport.
The 14,000-square-foot space will feature airfield views, locally influenced menus, a coffee bar and workspaces, according to a Thursday announcement from Charlotte Douglas International Airport. It will be on the mezzanine level of Concourse A, near gates 21–29.
The Capital One plan is among the latest expansion of amenities at the airport. Last year, American Airlines announced plans for lounges with feature comfortable seating, bars and dining areas. Other services include private spaces with spa-style shower suites, workstations and a kid-friendly family room.
