Local anti-airport expansion campaigners have been handed a date for a High Court legal challenge against plans to bring a second runway into use at Gatwick.
A four-day hearing is to start of January 20 following a claim for a judicial review led by Communities against Gatwick Noise Emissions (Cagne).
The group is opposed to a £2,2 billion privately-funded scheme to bring the airport’s standby runway into full use by moving it 12 metres to allow for more flights.
