This year’s theme honours the resilience, dignity, and leadership of Black communities across the UK. It’s a call to recognise the power of collective action—from historical movements like the Bristol Bus Boycott to modern campaigns for economic empowerment—and the pride rooted in cultural identity, heritage, and excellence. For members of the British Aviation Group, this is an opportunity to reflect on the contributions of Black professionals in aviation and related sectors, and to commit to greater inclusion and visibility.
The limited availability of sector-specific data on Black representation highlights the need for greater transparency. For British Aviation Group members, this is a call to action: to support data collection, share insights, and foster inclusive practices. By standing firm in power and pride, we can build a more equitable future across aviation, construction, and supply chain sectors.
