Birmingham Airport (BHX) has unveiled its latest terminal investment as it opened extended boarding gate lounges.

The new and improved Gates 58 to 60 have been re-developed, improving boarding experience through better layout design that will also support airlines with on-time departures.

The modern boarding lounges, constructed in partnership with Vinci Building, feature new flooring, brighter energy-efficient lighting and sleek balustrades designed to open up the space and enhance the overall appearance of the boarding spaces.

Previous partitions have also been removed to assist with the flow of passenger traffic and provide a more visually connected environment.

This latest terminal project is part of the airport’s biggest annual, capital investment plan, launched in May.

With over £76.5 million set to be invested in a 12-month period, focus from the airport is looking at a series of terminal and passengers experience improvements following on from the transport hub’s busiest year on record in 2024.
