Bids opened for passenger terminal deep foundations

The tender process for the construction of deep foundations for the passenger terminal under the Port Polska investment programme has now closed. Nine of the largest companies and consortia with extensive experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects were invited to take part in the competition.

An amount of over PLN 411 million gross (approximately €97 million) has been secured to finance the base contract. During the first stage of the project, the contractor will install more than 8,100 piles with a total combined length exceeding 140 kilometres. Completion of the works is scheduled for 2027.

A total of six tenders were submitted. Importantly, all submitted bids fall within the planned budget. The lowest bid was submitted by BUDIMEX S.A...
