Airport operator MAG has kicked off the hunt for firms to deliver a major new construction framework covering small to medium-sized projects across its airports in Manchester, East Midlands, and Stansted.

The eight-year deal, worth up to £500m [£600m according to other sources], will cover building, civils, and MEP works with frameworks awarded by lot and capped at £5m per job.

Bidders have until 18 July to register interest for the two-stage competition run under the new Procurement Act regime.

The framework allows for design and build options in both airside and landside environments.
