The hangar will be used to house a fleet of aeronautical vehicles, a private plane and helicopters. ASSA ABLOY, worked at pre-design, concept and specification stages to secure the order for a 56-meter wide "Megadoor" vertical lifting fabric hangar door.
Then working in tandem, the ASSA ABLOY team produced an inter-group bid which in addition to the Megadoor hangar door included, 2 Besam glazed sliding doors, 3 external and 34 internal hinged doors and a Crawford overhead sectional door.
The contractor commented "it was great to work with one supplier and a single point of contact for all these products"
