The airport says it is catching up on key maintenance and upgrade projects.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) plans to invest over $3 billion in maintenance and upgrade work from 2024 to 2027.

Several areas of the airport will benefit, including taxiways, walkways, passenger bridges, and a new baggage basement.

 The airport acknowledges a backlog and aims to catch up on important maintenance to improve the quality and sustainability of its facilities.

Schiphol has divided the infrastructure project into four key areas: Quality of Service, Quality of Work, Sustainability, and Safety.
