This briefing is convened under the UK Centre of Expertise for Green Cities, Infrastructure and Energy, which mobilises UK capability and innovation to support sustainable infrastructure delivery in low- and middle-income countries. Through the Green Cities, Infrastructure and Energy Programme (GCIEP), the UK Government is working with partner countries to strengthen policy frameworks, unlock investment-ready projects, and improve municipal finance and public services, driving growth, productivity and climate resilience.
In the Philippines, GCIEP has a strong focus on the water and transport sectors, aligned with the Government’s ambitious infrastructure pipeline and PPP agenda. This session will showcase a range of flagship, investment-ready PPP projects, offering UK companies early visibility of opportunities across multiple sectors.
Participants can expect insights and discussion on potential partnerships related to:
- Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) master planning
- Automated fare collection systems
- Regional airports and urban mobility solutions (including BRTs)
- City and park developments
- School and social infrastructure development
- Public market modernisation
- Housing and mixed-use developments
- Bulk water supply and urban water systems
