The Birtish Embassy Manilla are pleased to invite you to a UK–Philippines Infrastructure Opportunities Briefing, hosted by UK FCDO on 6 March, 09:30 - 12:00  at the PwC Office, 7 More London Riverside, London, SE1 2RT.

This briefing is convened under the UK Centre of Expertise for Green Cities, Infrastructure and Energy, which mobilises UK capability and innovation to support sustainable infrastructure delivery in low- and middle-income countries. Through the Green Cities, Infrastructure and Energy Programme (GCIEP), the UK Government is working with partner countries to strengthen policy frameworks, unlock investment-ready projects, and improve municipal finance and public services, driving growth, productivity and climate resilience.

In the Philippines, GCIEP has a strong focus on the water and transport sectors, aligned with the Government’s ambitious infrastructure pipeline and PPP agenda. This session will showcase a range of flagship, investment-ready PPP projects, offering UK companies early visibility of opportunities across multiple sectors.

Participants can expect insights and discussion on potential partnerships related to:

  • Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) master planning
  • Automated fare collection systems
  • Regional airports and urban mobility solutions (including BRTs)
  • City and park developments
  • School and social infrastructure development
  • Public market modernisation
  • Housing and mixed-use developments
  • Bulk water supply and urban water systems
    —among others.

This briefing is designed to help UK private sector companies:

  • Understand where UK expertise is particularly well-matched to Philippine infrastructure priorities
  • Identify concrete entry points for collaboration with government and local partners
  • Position early for upcoming procurement and project preparation activities

Further details and a formal agenda will follow shortly. We very much hope you can join us for what promises to be a practical and forward-looking discussion on how UK firms can play a leading role in the Philippines’ next wave of sustainable infrastructure development.
