FedEx has announced plans to develop a fully automated air cargo hub at GMR Cargo City at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Spread across approximately 230,000 sq ft, the integrated air cargo hub is designed to bring international gateway and pickup-and-delivery operations together within a single facility, enabling greater operational efficiency and faster, more seamless movement of shipments.
Once operational, the hub is designed to increase processing capacity from 600 to 5,000 packages per hour, with the flexibility to scale further as demand grows, The facility represents a long-term investment of approximately US$150m, said FedEx...
