London Luton Airport hosts supplier networking event

London Luton Airport hosted almost 40 local businesses at a networking event providing information about tendering opportunities and procedures for working with the airport.

The event was held at the airport’s Excellence Academy and attracted businesses including engineering, construction and professional service companies. Suppliers received information about upcoming opportunities across ongoing and future projects.

London Luton Airport invested £110 million (US$139 million), representing 60% of its total supply chain spend, in works, goods and services provided by over 320 businesses within a 25-mile (40km) radius last year. The investment supports the local economy and creates employment opportunities...
