Jersey Airport is no longer under Special Attention after regulatory audits confirmed stable leadership, strong compliance and improved passenger experience across security, baggage and assistance services.

Jersey Airport (JER) is no longer under ‘Special Attention’ from the aviation regulator, Ports of Jersey has confirmed. The additional oversight from the Office of the Director of Civil Aviation (ODCA) was introduced at the end of last year when the airport strengthened its operational leadership team.

Enhanced oversight is a standard measure for regulators during periods of significant change, allowing new leadership teams to settle into their roles. After several months of audits, reporting, and positive engagement, the regulator confirmed that the extra level of supervision is no longer required.
