In Congonhas, in the heart of São Paulo, Aena Brasil promises a New Airport with construction continuing until 2028: the terminal will almost triple in size, from 45 to 105 m². There will be 17 x-ray inspection channels, with 98% of passengers passing through in up to five minutes, and 19 jet bridges, allowing 70% of passengers to board through the terminal.

The modernization plan of CongonhasIn São Paulo, a project is underway to undertake a profound transformation of the terminal and operational areas, with completion scheduled for 2028. The proposal aims to address the most visible bottlenecks in the airport's daily operations, such as overcrowding, delays, and the discomfort of boarding during peak hours.

The package combines increased area, changes in safety protocols, and expansion of boarding bridges, in addition to improvements to the apron and runways...
