On the 9 July 2026, the British Aviation Group (BAG) was pleased to support and participate in the Waterfront Conference Company’s UK Airport Infrastructure Forum in London.
The event brought together industry leaders to explore how airports across the UK are turning infrastructure development plans into reality — from securing consent through to successful delivery.
It was fantastic to see such a strong BAG presence throughout the programme:
- Jane Thompson, BAG Deputy Chair, opened the conference with the Chair’s welcome and moderated the panel session with Heathrow Airport, Manchester Airports Group and London City Airport discussing “Scaling up airport capacity – how are London airports advancing major expansion and overcoming key development barriers?”

BAG members continue to play a key role in shaping the future of UK airport infrastructure, supporting growth, connectivity, sustainability and economic development across the aviation sector.
