Heathrow Airport, in partnership with NCE, is inviting early careers professionals from across industry to take a blank sheet of paper approach to innovation for airport infrastructure works.

The airport has several capital works programmes running concurrently and as a global leader, it is reaching out to industry to offer early careers professionals a chance to help shape the future.

Heathrow’s head of capital PMO Ben Jones explains: “Heathrow is a city in itself and we are incredibly proud of the work we do. But as an industry leader, we also have to ask ourselves and industry whether we have exhausted what can be done at present, how can others educate us and what can they bring to the table that might be different?”

This is why Heathrow is looking to early careers professionals, each sponsored by a senior manager within their company, to enter a new competition that will run over several months to develop new ideas for improved working at all levels.

Who can enter? Civil engineering apprentices or graduates from supply chain organisations with no more than 5 years of experience in the aviation sector

Deadline: 12 December 2025 23:55
