CPK awards contract for Baggage Handling System

The consortium of Vanderlande Logistics GmbH and Vanderlande Logistics, Unipessoal Lda has been selected to design, supply, install, commission, operate and maintain the Baggage Handling System (BHS) at the new CPK Airport. This system is a critical part of the future hub – it directly affects baggage waiting times, the efficiency of transfers, and overall passenger comfort.

The tender procedure for the Baggage Handling System was carried out in the form of a competitive dialogue. In July 2025, bids were opened, consisting of three separate amounts: the net price for the delivery and installation of the BHS (expressed in euros), the cost of operation and maintenance for the initial five years from the airport’s opening (expressed in Polish złoty), and an option for an additional five-year extension (also expressed in złoty).
