The purpose of the tender is to select a contractor responsible for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and servicing of these systems. The contract award is scheduled for next year. The procedure will be conducted in the form of a competitive dialogue. Originally planned for initiation in 2026, the project has been brought forward, highlighting CPK’s strong progress in delivering its investment programme.
The selected contractor will equip the passenger terminal building and other supporting facilities at CPK Airport with more than 500 lifts, escalators and moving walkways – so-called short-distance transport devices (UTB) – designed to facilitate the movement of passengers and cargo, particularly in high-traffic areas such as the terminal with its piers, railway stations and the interchange hub. The tender also covers equipment to be installed in the air traffic control tower and other buildings located in both the airside and landside areas.
