The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) posted an updated version of its FAQs for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). The September 3 version updates several sections, including three new sections and a list of acronyms. The FAA also informed ACC that the Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) for the IIJA’s FY 2026 Airport Terminal Program (ATP) and the Federal Contract Towers program are still under review, and anticipates the NOFO application period to open by the end of the month. The FAA announced that it does not have enough unobligated Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) funds from FY 2022 to run the new AIG Funding Reallocation (AFR) program.
