More than 15 megastructure modules, or pieces of new facilities that will eventually come together to expand several terminals, have come to life across two pre-fabrication yards at DFW. The airport’s innovative mindset is taking modular construction to an all-new scale for the industry with the technique being used to expand Terminal A and Terminal C and build a sixth Terminal F.
What does this mean for travelers? First, more growth is on the way! Secondly, this process takes core construction activity away from our busy terminals to reduce construction impacts on DFW’s ever-growing operation and ultimately our customers.
