Tomorrow - Wednesday 10 June - is the final day an employer can furlough an employee for the first time through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme. This deadline is because after 30 June, only employees who have been furloughed for at least 3 consecutive weeks can be put on furlough again. From 1 July, there will be a flexible furlough scheme that means employers will be able to choose when and how to bring employees on and off the furlough scheme. View key dates here
