Future Proof Your Airport Operations
How can modelling and simulation help you visualise your airport?
With air passenger footfall expected to double by 2037 around the world, it’s essential that your airport is operating at maximum capacity – and planning ahead for intelligent growth.
How can your airport cope with such an influx? What are the pressure points and bottlenecks? Modelling this rise in capacity can be used to plan airport investment and future proofing.
Future Proofing Airports with End to End Capacity Enhancement
NATS and AiQ have combined their airside and landside expertise to optimise day to day airport operations and provide certainty in future growth plans.
This kerbside to airspace capacity assessment gives an holistic view, identifying short term fixes and delivering actionable longer term development roadmaps.
Airports increasingly utilise common use systems for efficiency and ease of use. These systems involve using the same equipment regardless of airline, whereas historically each airline would have their own equipment.
CUPPS, CUTE and CUSS – find out more about these acronyms and the benefits they can bring.
Independent Assessment of Declaration Capacity at Schiphol Airport
As global experts in airport capacity planning, AiQ won and undertook an independent assessment of declaration capacity at Schiphol Airport, one of the busiest international hubs in the world.
As a level 3 fully coordinated airport where demand exceeds capacity, the AiQ team were able to recommend new ways to increase capacity.
AiQ Signs 3 Year Framework Agreement with Heathrow Airport
AiQ signed a three-year framework agreement with HAL for the annual maintenance of Airside Traffic Simulations, Ground Service Equipment (GSE) & Unit Load Device (ULD) models for Airside Operations at the Airport.
This includes the maintenance of the process, demand and capacity models with a reportable database and 2D visual vehicle simulation of all airside passenger terminal and cargo areas of the airport.
