UK Export Finance (UKEF) are celebrating, marking 100 years of support of UK exports. The UKEF were the world's first export credit agency, founded just after the First World War.
Below is a link to the UKEF's centenary edition of their Performance Highlights, which demonstrate their continued success in helping UK businesses sell internationally.
Of the 262 companies that the UKEF directly supported with finance, insurance or access to private sector support, 79% were SMEs (2% more than last year). And thousands more UK companies benefited indirectly from the UKEF's support through their part in supply chains.
The UKEF is recognised by the trade finance sector. Global Trade Review and Trade Finance Global have both named UKEF, Best Export Credit Agency, and the British Exporters Association once again awarded the UKEF 9/10 for their product range - making the UKEF the highest-rated European ECA for the fifth year running.
