Lead8 has been selected by the Airport Authority Hong Kong as the lead designer for the planned Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Terminal 1 renovation.
The Boarding Gate Transformation project is scheduled to be finished in 2021.
The contract includes a complete overhaul and modernisation of:
- 49 boarding gates and nearby areas of the level six departure concourses
- upgrading technologies at all boarding gates
- new and refreshed beam seating across all departure waiting areas.
Furthermore, retail and service cabins will be upgraded to provide more convenience to travellers.
