Adani Enterprises (Adani Group) have been named by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) as the winning bidder of the contract to run six Indian Airports. The group is expected to pay Rs3.15tn ($45.264bn) to the Government of India for this concession which will operated via a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The six airports to come under control o f the group are located in Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Mangaluru, Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), Lucknow, and Guwahati.
