Ministers were today urged to end ‘years of political dithering’ by giving the go-ahead to a third runway at Heathrow.
A report issued by the Commons Transport Select Committee has claimed the arguments over expansion at Heathrow and Gatwick have changed little in 25 years.
The report also stated that the Government had made a misstep by not accepting the Airports Commission recommendation to build a third runway at Heathrow.
