The R.L. Jones Jr. Riverside Airport will receive $4.7 million in federal, state and local matching funds to rehabilitate its runways and signage, according to an Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission news release issued Monday. The $4.7 million going to the general aviation airport in south Tulsa is part of the $68 million in improvements to airports across the state that are included in the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission’s recently finalized Capital Improvement Program for fiscal years 2016-18.
