It is intended for DRAKON Group to conduct an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) awareness course for airport support staff in Sep 2017 at the Emergency Planning College (EPC), Easingwold. The course is designed to train both security and non-security professionals working within an aviation environment to recognise and subsequently react to, potential IED threats and scenarios.

It is a subject and threat that is particularly relevant in the current climate and the event is focused on the premise that security is everybody's responsibility:

Whether operating as ground crew, check-in staff, flight crew, retail workers or general support staff, the course will provide a valuable insight into the threats currently facing the aviation community relating to Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and perhaps more importantly, how to recognise and ultimately deal with a situation of this nature.

The details in brief:

  • Date - 13 Sep 2017
  • Venue - Emergency Planning College, Easingwold (York)
  • Cost - £250
  • Limited accommodation is available
  • Attendance is restricted to 100
  • For further info:

The course will be taught at an introductory level and as such no prior experience is required. The primary aim is to dispel the existing climate of fear and provide reassurance through training and imparted knowledge.

I've attached the detailed course 'break down' but if you need any further info, please don't hesitate to ask. Likewise, if you require a product that conforms to a template to aid marketing, just give me a shout and i'll get on it.
