Damarel was recently awarded the contract to provide a Backup Departure Control System (B-DCS) to Changi Airport, Singapore. Available for use in all terminals B-DCS ensures continued passenger processing, including check-in and boarding, in the event that an airline DCS fails. The system is now in place and provides essential operational cover for one of the world's busiest airports.
The project was awarded based on Damarel's track record in delivering High Availability and Business Continuity solutions to a number of flag carrying airlines in stations around the world, and underlines Changi's commitment to provide a world-class passenger experience.
