Helpfully, MPs asked when the “Aviation Recovery Plan” will be published. Bernadette Kelly said that there were plans to produce an aviation recovery plan and Gareth Davies outlined the phases of work for the aviation sector focusing on long-term issues facing the industry, the uncertainty created by the travel corridors policy and that regional connectivity was an important aspect of the plan as well as issues around noise and decarbonisation.  When asked about what the financial package would support that plan Gareth Davies said that support packages provided in the UK were cross-sector rather than sector-specific.
