In its meeting on 27th September 2019, the Supervisory Board dealt intensively with the progress of construction and the results of operating principle testing for Terminal 1. Commissioning of BER in October 2020 is still the goal, and this should be achieved according to current understanding. This was the main outcome of the Supervisory Board meeting on Friday, attended by representatives of TÜV Rheinland. This assessment was backed up by positive results from operating principle testing, which was completed on Friday. Even if the final report is not available until the end of October, the result is not likely to change.
