Pune Airport officials said that more than 75 per cent of the work has been completed and trial runs are scheduled to take place in July.
Minister of State for Civil Aviation General (Rtd) V K Singh Saturday inspected the progress of the new terminal building being constructed at Pune Airport.
Airports Authority of India (AAI) officials said Singh was satisfied with the progress of the work and directed the officials incharge to stick to the deadline for the completion of work.
The facility will have 36,000 square feet of space for food and beverage services, and will have retail outlets for refreshments. The projected cost of the new terminal is Rs 475 crore and the construction began in 2018.
