Malta International Airport has revealed details of a €100m (US$110m) terminal expansion.
The upcoming project will see the terminal building increase to around 31,200m2 (335,835ft2), double its current footprint. It will mainly focus on improving the experience and airport processes at key points of the passenger journey through the airport, most notably within the check-in hall, the security screening area, and at the departure gates.
