AiQ Consulting have been appointed to implement initial operational planning work for airline transition moves at Heathrow's newly developed terminal 3 Integrated Baggage System, the UK's first integrated baggage system where bags will be built using robotics.
Working on Automation Transition Plans, AiQ will use their technical expertise to ensure the system is able to cope with Check-In, Early Bag Store demands and other key elements. Focusing on Automation, AiQ will assist stakeholders to agree processes, times and capabilities. The integrated baggage system will release space for terminal development allowing once of Europe's busiest airports to dramatically increase efficiency.
