On June 10 the FAA issued a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document covering the administration of nearly $8 billion in grants for airports under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The $8 billion in funding is divided into four groups, including $608 million to pay 100% of the federal share for airport development grants; $6.492 billion for primary airports; $100 million for nonprimary airports; and $800 million for concessions relief.
