Companies from across the UK aviation sector met Trade and Export Promotion Minister Baroness Fairhead to discuss how industry and government can work together to promote the sector internationally and boost UK exports.

The roundtable in London, organised by the British Aviation Group (BAG) and hosted by BAG Chairman Graham Bolton on Monday 16 April, brought together senior representatives from across the UK aviation and airport supply chain and provided an opportunity to share experiences of the challenges and opportunities facing UK exporters within the sector.

 

Minister for Trade and Export Promotion at the Department for International Trade, Baroness Fairhead said:

 

“I am determined to help the UK’s world leading aviation sector to seize global export opportunities across the world."

 

“The Department for International Trade will continue to support thousands of companies to export every year, including many in the aviation sector.”

 

BAG Chairman Graham Bolton said:
